Sources checked 19 October 2026. We make LoyalsClub, one of the options here. This is a buyer's guide built from vendor pages and public reviews, not independent testing.
Corrected 20 October 2026: Boulevard's pricing page ticks its loyalty and referral programs on the higher plans, not the entry plan. An earlier version said all three plans.
Start with what RepeatMD actually does
It's 7 p.m., the last patient has gone, and a RepeatMD renewal email is sitting in your inbox. Before you compare anything, be clear about what you'd be giving up.
According to its own website, RepeatMD gives a practice its own branded app that combines rewards, memberships, 24/7 online shopping and patient financing through Affirm. It also pitches AI features. Its rewards product is described as "mobile rewards". The pages we checked don't describe a points mechanic, so we'll say "rewards" here, not "points".
RepeatMD says it works with 4,000+ practices in the US and Canada. That's its claim, not ours, but it tells you plenty of practices find the bundle useful.
On Capterra it holds 4.4 out of 5 from 192 reviews (checked 19 October 2026). Most of those reviews are positive. That matters, and an honest comparison has to start there.
Who RepeatMD fits well
RepeatMD looks strongest for a practice that will use the whole bundle:
- You want an app with your own brand on it, not a page inside someone else's app.
- You sell or plan to sell memberships, and you want patients to buy them from their phone.
- You want an online shop that takes orders around the clock.
- You want financing offered inside the same patient experience.
If that's your plan, a lighter rewards tool won't replace it. You'd be stitching three or four products together to get close.
Who it may not fit (a question to test, not a verdict)
"Too small for RepeatMD" isn't a fact about any clinic. It's a budget and workflow question, and you can test it.
RepeatMD doesn't publish its prices. Pricing comes through a demo, so you can't compare it on a spreadsheet until you've had the call. We won't repeat third-party price estimates here because they aren't official.
So ask yourself three things:
- Will we use the shop, memberships and financing within the first few months? If the answer is "maybe later", you're paying for a plan, not a tool.
- Who on our team will run it? A branded app with a shop needs someone to keep products, offers and content fresh. At a one-location spa, that's usually the owner, at night.
- What does the contract say about leaving? That's where some reviewers say they ran into trouble.
What some reviewers report
Most RepeatMD reviews on Capterra are positive, and its customer service score there is 4.3 (Capterra). Still, some reviewers report problems worth checking before you sign: high-pressure sales, contracts they say they couldn't leave, and slow or missing responses to cancellation requests (Capterra reviews, older reviews).
These are individual reviews, not RepeatMD's standard terms. Read your own contract, and ask the questions below of every vendor, including us.
What to check before you switch or sign
- Total price in writing, with every add-on named.
- Contract length, auto-renewal and the exact cancellation steps. Who do you email? How much notice?
- Data export. What client list and history can you take with you if you leave?
- Staff workflow. What does the front desk do differently at checkout tomorrow?
- Patient experience. Download an app, open a page, or nothing at all? Ask to see it on a real phone.
- Compliance. Don't tie rewards to prescription treatments, and check your state's rules, because incentive rules vary by state.
If the tool you already pay for passes this list, you may not need to switch at all.
RepeatMD alternatives, sorted by the job you need done
Loyalty that's already in your booking software
This is the cheapest switch, because you may already be paying for it.
- Boulevard describes a built-in loyalty program where you set a points system for products and services and the redemption value. It also has a client referral program in which the referrer is rewarded automatically after the friend's appointment, plus offers for slow days. Its pricing page ticked Loyalty program and Referral program on its higher medspa plans but not the entry plan on 20 October 2026.
- Vagaro lists customer loyalty programs under "Included with every plan". Vagaro's own blog says you assign point values to what you sell.
- Zenoti has a loyalty points program, flat or tiered, with points awarded at checkout. Zenoti quotes its prices rather than publishing them.
- AestheticsPro describes a loyalty rewards program tied to customer spending. Its pricing page notes that some features cost extra, so confirm loyalty is in your edition.
None of these gives you RepeatMD's branded app plus shop plus financing in one. But if the job is "reward repeat visits", the feature may already sit in the system your front desk opens every morning.
Mangomint
Mangomint's July 2026 pricing update says that since August 1, 2026 it charges $120 per location per month plus $10 per user per month, with phone, payroll and marketing messages as paid add-ons. Its features page lists memberships and packages, gift cards, and offers and discounts. We didn't find a loyalty points feature on its features or pricing pages when we checked. That doesn't prove it has none, so ask Mangomint directly.
Allē and ASPIRE: complements, not replacements
Manufacturer programs reward patients for specific treatments. Allē says every 100 points can be redeemed for $10 toward a qualifying brand, at participating practices. Allē points belong to the patient's Allē account, not to your practice, and they go toward Allergan brands (Allē terms).
ASPIRE Galderma Rewards has its own rules: as of October 2026, every 100 points becomes a $10 reward on a qualifying Galderma treatment, and that reward expires 60 days after it's issued.
Both are worth offering. Neither one rewards a patient for choosing your practice. We go deeper in Allē and your own clinic rewards.
LoyalsClub: lighter, with real friction
We make this one, so here's the honest version.
What you get: your med spa's branded page inside the shared LoyalsClub app, which is free on the US App Store for iPhone. You set the earning rate per amount spent and design rewards, each with a points cost. Points are per business, so a balance at your spa can't be spent anywhere else. There's a joining bonus, client referrals (both people are rewarded after the friend's first purchase), private feedback after a transaction so you can fix a problem quietly, and a client list showing each person's last visit as days ago. Push notifications are sent manually by you.
What it lacks compared with RepeatMD: no app of your own, no white-label option, no memberships, no online shop and no financing. No SMS, no automation and no scheduled messages. No booking or POS sync.
The friction:
- It's a shared app. Your clients can browse other participating businesses and a shared offers feed. Your client list, spend and visit history stay private to you, but the app isn't exclusive.
- Staff record each visit with a separate scan. It's an extra step at checkout, and missed scans make the last-visit list less accurate.
- Clients download an app. Some won't.
We don't have US customers yet. Our live clinic customer is Healia Medical Center in Dubai. Setup is hands-on: your program is typically configured within 24 to 48 hours after receiving your details (US med spa page). Pricing is covered on the demo call: monthly, no long-term commitment. Hands-on setup and monthly terms are useful, but they aren't unique to us.

When RepeatMD is the better choice
Pick RepeatMD if you'll genuinely use its memberships, online shop and financing, you want an app with only your brand on it, and the quote and contract terms work for you in writing. No alternative on this list matches that bundle, including ours.
Pick the loyalty in your booking software if your team already lives in it and patients can see their balance easily.
Look at LoyalsClub if you mainly want a visible rewards program and a simple last-visit list beside the booking system you already use, and the shared app and separate scan don't bother you. For the wider field, see our guide to loyalty software for US med spas and the US med spa loyalty page.
Book a demo and we'll show you the client's page, the staff scan and the owner's last-visit list, then you can decide.
Disclosure: LoyalsClub is our product. This comparison uses vendor pages and public Capterra reviews checked on 19 October 2026, not independent testing. Prices, features and terms change, so confirm them with each vendor before you decide.
